Horror Film Festival: Success!

The Contest

When RPI TV sent out the invitation to RPI students to submit the best short horror films they could come up with, no one knew what to expect. The professional and creative qualities of the four films that made it through from conception to finished product in just a month certainly exceeded expectations. And let's not forgot the students that came out to see the films and support the creators - we hope you enjoyed the festival as much as we enjoyed putting it together!

We're so happy with the results, in fact, that waiting until next October to do this again isn't an option. That's why we have a spring contest in the works. Anyone up for a comedy? Stay tuned for details!

In the mood for some fright?

We'll keep you posted on how you can see these films again. We're working to bring them to air on Channel 6, and The Industrial Revolution will be shown prior to an upcoming UPAC Cinema film. In the meantime, you might want to check out some of the five-minute horror flicks at DVXuser.com's film festival, the inspiration for this film contest and the source of the exhibition films shown during the contest. Enjoy!
