Members and people involved with RPI TV may log in to rpitv.org to access additional club materials as well as administrate the data available on the website.

Permissions

As rpitv.org grows, so will the amount of options available to someone who is logged-in to the site. Currently, members can access graphical materials and business meeting history. Officers can enter information about productions and meetings, as well as upcoming broadcasts, depending on their positions. If you believe you need access to a feature of the website that you cannot currently access, please email rpitv-web@union.rpi.edu.

Logging in

The preferred form of login is with CAS, RPI's Central Authentication System. When you log in with CAS, you use your RCS ID (first part of your e-mail address) and your normal school password. You will be redirected asked to enter your password in a login box at login.rpi.edu, a secure (https) site controlled by RPI's Chief Information Officer. That website then confirms your identity to rpitv.org. In this way, RPI TV can never see your password, or any personal information other than your RCS ID from your school account.

You can only authenticate if you are in RPI TV's database.

The old log-in system is still available for anyone who needs to access the system but does not have an RCS ID to log in through CAS.
